2009 Career Achievements
- Initiator and technical lead/architect of Self Service Group Management (SSGM) project which provides a web user interface and a backend to enable management of Design Systems Unix groups by end-users. Application is structured around a web frontend written in PHP, a MySQL database and scripts interfacing with LDAP backend. Benefits are reduced cycle time , increased traceability (in line with Confidential Information Protection objectives) and reduced support load. Participated to deployment to all Design Systems sites WW (#25) #5000 requests in 2009 saved 5000 Stars tickets which can be translated into 250K$ yearly saving (50$ average per ticket)

Technical lead of Configuration Management (Clearcase) / Product Lifecycle Management (CDDS) integration process named Create Release (CDDS_CREL) using PERL,XML files and CDDS API’s to upload releases labels, packages and design hierarchy into CDDS. Re-visited CDDS_CREL scripts with improved flow and a new method to log events through email in order to strengthen process to upload data from Clearcase into CDDS. Benefit is better traceability between CM & PLM environments. Contribution to avoid IP re-spin (M$ saving)

Active participation in virtual team working on full design hierarchy upload from Design Clearcase Vobs into CDDS, proposed new method to produce Defects reporting based on both sources (Design hierarchy and manual hierarchy) Objective is to improve IP quality by identifying IP defects before going to PG process. Contribution to avoid IP re-spin (M$ saving)
